Our new non-profit foundation, Friends of Douglas County K-9, was created to benefit the law enforcement dogs of the Douglas County Sheriff's Office. Our first fundraiser was held on October 12, 2011 at Cielo at Castle Pines. At the event, "Howling Good Time," we honored two retiring dogs (Axel and Leon) and paid tribute to all the dogs and deputies of the K-9 Unit.
